Pastor-Teacher Everett R. Pierson has been proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ for almost 40 years. He is a native of Dallas, Texas, and the first-born son of Deacon, Constable Roscoe M. (d. 2002) and Rosie M. Pierson. Rev. Pierson is a son in the ministry of Dr. George W. Pryor (d. 2018) and the New Birth Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. Married to Mrs. Sandra J. Pierson since 1986, the Lord has blessed them with three (3) children, two daughters, one son, and seven (7) grandchildren to date.
Pastor Pierson served as a pastor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia for over 20 years. During his tenure in the ministry, he has served socially as PTA President and Director of Drill Teams for the Dallas Regional District Association. As a ministry-minded individual, he has served as the Executive Assistant of former President Stephen Thurston, National Baptist Convention of America, Inc., and as a member of the Evangelical Board.
Pastor Pierson has completed studies and coursework at Southern Bible Institute, Washington Bible College, and Andersonville Theological Seminary. He is passionate about the Lord, his family, his calling, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
